Turnaround in Ice Hockey World Championship div. I B

Another Ice World Hockey Championship is coming to an end, and this time a turnaround of results happened. To begin with Ukraine until then leader with three wins in three games, lost to Lithuania rival in the last period of turn 2-1. Reviravolta no Mundial de Hóquei no Gelo div. I B

Mais um Mundial vai chegando ao fim, e desta vez uma reviravolta de resultados aconteceu. Para começar a Ucrânia até então líder com três vitórias em três jogos, perdeu para a rival Lituânia no último período de virada por 2x1. Essa mesma Lituânia que surpreendeu os ucranianos, conseguiu perder por incríveis 8x0 para a Grã Bretanha.
Agora cabe aos britânicos não perder o duelo contra os ucranianos amanhã caso vença, eles se sagram campeões da div. I B e serão promovidos a div. I A. Assim como o blog informou, espera se que os britânico não repitam o mesmo erro do ano passado ao perder na última rodada e assim ficar mais um ano na I B.

Enfim, tanto Grã Bretanha como Ucrânia e Lituânia têm chances de título, enquanto que o duelo pra protocolar o rebaixamento da Romênia ocorre com a Estônia, também ameaçada. Ao término deste Munidial I B, em Katowice na Polônia ocorrerá o Mundial da divisão I A.
Os participantes deste Mundial são: Polônia, Itália, Japão, Coreia do Sul (campeã da div. I B em 2015), Áustria e Eslovênia (rebaixadas da divisão Mundial ano passado) e fortes candidatos a voltarem pra divisão principal. Fiquem de olho, ao longo da semana vou postando o que acontece por lá, até.

What rolled so far in the Ice Hockey World Championship div. I B

The Ice Hockey World Championship division I B is already rolling and some expectations have been confirmed as the blog "predicted". The best game of these two rounds so far was the victory suffered in overtime Great Britain 4 x 3 in Estonia, the best players of each side were the british Russell Cowley and estonian Aleksandr Petrov, both scored two goals. Tomorrow the british face Lithuania ranked first side of the Ukraine with 6 points.

O que rolou até agora no Mundial de Hóquei no Gelo div. I B

O Mundial de Hóquei no Gelo divisão I B já está rolando, e algumas expectativas vêm se confirmando como o blog "previu". Começando pela Romênia derrotada nos dois primeiros jogos para Ucrânia (1 x 6) e Lituânia (1 x 5), o time vem até o momento confirmando a tese de que pode sim ser rebaixado para a div. II A ano que vem, enquanto que os ucranianos além de terem ganho dos romenos, também derrotaram os donos da casa Croácia por 4 x 1.
A campanha dos croatas vai indo de mal a pior porque além dessa derrota, na partida inaugural a Grã Bretanha os bateu por 4 x 1, e provavelmente croatas e romenos disputarão a sobrevivência no campeonato.

O melhor jogo destas duas rodadas até agora foi a vitória sofrida na prorrogação da Grã Bretanha 4 x 3 na Estônia, os destaques de cada lado foram: o britânico Russell Cowley e o estoniano Aleksandr Petrov, ambos marcaram dois gols. Amanhã os britânicos enfrentam a Lituânia primeira colocada ao lado da Ucrânia com 6 pontos.

Finished the Ice Hockey World Championship div. II A and II B

It came to an end two Ice Hockey World Championship performed in Mexico and Spain and as I predicted here on the blog, the Netherlands and Australia are anointed champions of their divisions as China and Bulgaria have been lowered. With that next year Bulgaria back to the Third Division where it has been in 2014, China returns to the div. II B, while Australia back to the div. II A and the Netherlands returns to the I B.

The big surprise in this end of World II A was on account of Serbia, in these last two rounds won the already lowered China, but the most surprising win was against Iceland. Trailing by 3: 0 in the 1st period the Serbs turned to 3 x 4 in the 2nd period, and the game is over 3 x 6.

The next stop is the Ice Hockey World Championship I B division which will be held from 17th to 23 April in Zagreb, Croatia, the participating teams are: Croatia, UK, Estonia, Lithuania, Ukraine (recessed the div IA last year.), and Romania (champion of the div. II A last year). Ukraine to have come from a division above is in my opinion the favorite for the title, while the Romanians will have to play a lot to survive in this division. Terminou os Mundiais de Hóquei no Gelo div. II A e II B

Chegou ao fim mais dois Mundiais de hóquei no gelo realizados no México e Espanha e como já previsto aqui no blog, Holanda e Austrália sagraram se campeãs das suas divisões enquanto China e Bulgária foram rebaixadas. Com isso no ano que vem a Bulgária volta para a III divisão onde ela já esteve em 2014, a China retorna para a div. II B, enquanto que Austrália volta para a div. II A e a Holanda retorna para a I B.

A grande surpresa nesta reta final de Mundial II A ficou por conta da Sérvia, que nestas duas últimas rodadas ganhou da já rebaixada China, mas a vitória mais surpreendente foi contra a Islândia. Perdendo por 3 x 0 no 1º período os sérvios viraram pra 3 x 4 no 2º período, e o jogo acabou 3 x 6.

A próxima parada é o Mundial divisão I B que será realizado dos dias 17 à 23 de abril em Zagreb na Croácia, as equipes participantes são: Croácia, Grã Bretanha, Estônia, Lituânia, Ucrânia (rebaixada da div. I A ano passado), e Romênia (campeã da div. II A ano passado). A Ucrânia por ter vindo de uma divisão acima é na minha opinião a favorita ao título, enquanto que os romenos vão ter de jogar muito pra sobreviverem nessa divisão. Fiquem de olho também no forte time da Grã Bretanha que ano passado quase conseguiu o título, perdeu o último jogo para a Lituânia 3 x 2.
