Sorry I'm late

Late come publish the final stretch of the Ice Hockey World Championship div. IA and IB, the last day of the World div. IB three countries had title hopes (Great Britain, Ukraine and Lithuania), the first game was between GBR vs UKR, and only a draw was enough to ensure the British title and access to I A. This was happening until the early the third period, when ukrainians turned the game for 2 vs 1 and so were close title, now depended on the Lithuania game. The second game of the day was the candidate for relegation Estonia against Romania, and as predicted by the blog, the romanians were relegated after losing 3 vs 0.

And to close the championship came the game the home side Croatia against championship contender Lithuania, as the match ended 1 vs. 1 and on penalties croats won, Lithuania amounted to 1 pt and was third in the World. With that Ukraine returns to the division which was downgraded last year, Lithuania is the same and Britain committed again the same mistake last year.

Speaking now of the div. IA the championship was well balanced with emotion until the last day, Slovenia won to champion and return to top division next year, while Austria will embitter another year (ranked 4th) with Poland (also made an excellent World staying in 3rd place with three wins in the last three games). South Korea's champion div. I B last year managed to stay in 5th place, it is worth remembering that in two years the south koreans will host the Winter Olympics, and the country will have to make a decent campaign in the Olympic tournament. Both six cast players are naturalized south korean, the korean gunner example in the Michael Swift author of five goals.
Japan was the usher of the tournament with no win, while Italy (2nd place) awaits the World course (main division), whether to remain or be promoted to the Slovenians.
